Getting Started
How do I start using Presengo?
Download Presengo from the App Store or Google Play, or use the web version. No account is required to get started -- simply open the app, create your first group, add members and you’re ready to take attendance.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Presengo works without an account for most features. An account is only required if you subscribe to the Starter plan on the web, or if you want to create or join a shared space (Team / Team+ plans).
How do I change the app language?
Go to Settings and tap Language. Presengo is available in English, French, Spanish, German and Italian. The app automatically detects your device language on first launch.
Groups & Members
How do I create a group?
Tap the "+" button in the Home or Groups tab, give your group a name and you’re done. You can then add members one by one, or import them from a spreadsheet (Starter plan and above).
Is there a limit on the number of groups or members?
No. All plans -- including the free plan -- allow unlimited groups and unlimited members per group.
Can I archive a group instead of deleting it?
Yes. Swipe left on a group (or use the group menu) and tap Archive. Archived groups are hidden from the main list but all their data is preserved. You can unarchive them at any time from the Archives section in Settings.
Attendance & Events
How do I take attendance?
Open a group, tap "New event", then mark each member as present or absent with a single tap. You can also use custom statuses (Starter plan and above) for more detailed tracking such as "Late" or "Excused".
Can I edit attendance after the fact?
Yes. Open any past event from the group’s event list or the calendar and update the attendance data. Changes are saved immediately.
How does the calendar work?
The Calendar tab displays all your events across all groups. You can view by month, week or day, filter by group, and tap an event to view or edit its attendance. You can also create new events directly from the calendar.
How does QR check-in work?
With a Team+ plan, you can start a QR check-in session from any event. A QR code and a unique code are generated. Members scan the QR code (or enter the code manually) to mark their attendance in real time. You can optionally require a signature or photo for verification. The session expires automatically after the chosen duration, and you can track check-ins live from a real-time dashboard.
Sharing & Collaboration
How do I share my data with colleagues?
With a Team or Team+ plan, create a shared space from the Sharing tab. You will receive an invitation code that your colleagues can use to join the space. All shared groups are synchronised in real time across all space members.
What is the difference between Simple and Secure sharing modes?
In Simple mode, anyone with the invitation code can join the space. In Secure mode, only email addresses you have pre-approved can join the space -- ideal for organisations that require stricter access control.
Plans & Subscriptions
What does the free plan include?
The free plan gives you unlimited groups, unlimited members, attendance tracking with 2 default statuses (Present / Absent), a full calendar view and basic statistics. It has everything you need to get started.
How do I upgrade to a paid plan?
Go to Settings and tap Premium. Choose the plan that suits you and subscribe via the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android) or Stripe (web). Your subscription is activated immediately.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel at any time from your device settings (App Store or Google Play) or via Stripe for web subscriptions. You retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Data & Privacy
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hosted on Supabase infrastructure within the European Union. Row-Level Security (RLS) ensures that only you can access your own data.
Can I export my data?
Yes, with a Starter plan or above. Go to Settings and tap Export. You can export your attendance data in Excel, CSV or PDF, with filters by group, member, period and status.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings, tap your account, then tap "Delete my account". This permanently deletes all your data from our servers in accordance with the GDPR. This action is irreversible.
